About the role

Sell solutions, not products

DEFION is growing fast, and we need someone who can match that pace. As a Business Developer, you are the bridge between complex security challenges and our portfolio of Active Defense services. You do not sell boxes; you listen, understand risk profiles, and connect clients with the expertise that truly fits.

You will manage a selection of key accounts, open doors to new prospects, and work closely with our Prevent, Detect, Respond, and Governance teams to build proposals that win.

What you will do

  • Introduce DEFION's Active Defense services to new and existing clients
  • Act as key account manager for a portfolio of clients, building long-term relationships
  • Uncover prospect needs, assess risk profiles, and match them to the right Managed Services
  • Collaborate with Prevent, Detect, Respond, and Governance business units on tailored solutions
  • Prepare high-quality proposals that are clear, compelling, and aligned with client expectations
  • Organize workshops, lunches, and masterclasses to engage and support clients
  • Attend industry events and represent DEFION in the cybersecurity community

What you bring

Must have:

  • A university or university of applied sciences degree
  • Work experience in (cybersecurity) sales
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • A genuine hunter mentality: proactive, opportunity-driven, relationship-oriented

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with MDR, SIEM, and Endpoint Security
  • Broad knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape
